Harbours Act 1950

Vesting of Management of Wharf

Pursuant to section 192 (1) of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby vests the management of the Tarakohe wharf being part of the Tarakohe Harbour, in The Tasman District Council for a period of 14 years from the date hereof with effect from the date of the revocation of the Deed of Licence of Tarakohe Harbour dated 20 December 1977, between the Minister of Transport and the Golden Bay Cement Company Limited.

Traffic Regulations 1976

Exemption of Certain Vehicles Owned by Specified Airline Companies From Particular Equipment Requirements While Used on Specified Roads

Pursuant to regulation 90 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by an instrument of delegation dated the 20th day of August 1993, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby exempt the classes of vehicle specified in Schedule One from the requirements of regulations 58 to 64 (inclusive), regulations 68–76 (inclusive), regulations 78, 81, 82 and 83B and regulations 84–87 (inclusive) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 subject to the conditions specified in Schedule Two.

The notices of exemption published in the New Zealand Gazette: No. 101, page 2146, 1990 and No. 102, page 2835, 1986 are hereby revoked.
