Land Acquired for Scenic Reserve and Land Acquired and Set Apart for Government Purpose Reserve (Esplanade)—Adjacent to the Waitara River, Waitara

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, New Plymouth, declares that, on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette that:

(i) Pursuant to section 20 (1), agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule is hereby acquired for Scenic Reserve subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977 and shall vest in the Crown.

(ii) Pursuant to section 20 (1), agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule is hereby acquired for Government Purpose Reserve (Esplanade) subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in the Crown.

(iii) Pursuant to section 52, the land described in the Third Schedule is hereby set apart for Government Purpose Reserve (Esplanade) subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes—Adjacent to the Waitara River, Waitara

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, New Plymouth, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Taranaki Regional Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Rotorua District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in Bay of Plenty Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
