Schedule

Vehicles complying with the requirements of the Load Pilot Drivers Manual, Edition No. 1, 1994, and any subsequent editions and operated by A Grade Certified Load Pilots for the purpose of escorting overdimension loads.

Conditions

1. These lamps shall only be used when escorting loads issued with an overdimension permit in accordance with regulation 49 of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

2. These lamps shall comply with the specifications and conditions of use as set out in the Load Pilot Drivers Manual, Edition No. 1, 1994, and any subsequent editions.

3. These lamps shall be operated independently of the headlamp system and incorporate an internal light visible to the driver when the lamps are flashing.

4. When these lamps are in operation, they shall alternately flash at a rate of not less than 60 or more than 120 flashes per minute.

5. These lamps are approved for A Grade Certified Pilot Vehicles only and shall be removed from the vehicle when the vehicle is withdrawn from the service of piloting overdimension loads.

Open Season for Game in Fish and Game Regions

Pursuant to the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Conservation amends the notice for the Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Region, published in the Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of Tuesday, 29 March 1994, issue No. 29 at page 1196, by including the 6th, 11th and 12th days of June 1994, within the open season for the hunting of cock pheasant.

The notice for the hunting of cock pheasant within the Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Region is amended to read as:

• Cock pheasant (area E)
  • 04 June to 06 June 1994 inclusive
  • 11 June to 12 June 1994 inclusive

30 July to 31 July 1994 inclusive

“Fruit Loss” Cut-Off Day for the 1994 Kiwifruit Season

Pursuant to regulation 13DD of the Kiwifruit Marketing Regulations 1977, New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board specifies 30 October 1994, being the last day of ISO week 43, as the cut-off day for the 1994 season for deductions in respect of unsound kiwifruit for the purposes of regulations 13DE to 13DG.
