Life Insurance Act 1908
Proposed Release of Deposit
Prudential Assurance Company of Australia and New Zealand Limited (herein called “the company”) has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on business of life insurance in New Zealand and that, pursuant to section 12 of such Act, proposes to withdraw the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 12 of such Act that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after 1 May 1994 the amount deposited with him by the company.
Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the District Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before 20 April 1994.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Part of State Highway 3 Te Awamutu to Kihikihi
Pursuant to section 61 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw.
Bylaw

This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1994/2.

This bylaw shall come into force immediately.

In this bylaw “motor vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.

No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres an hour on that part of State Highway 3 from Te Awamutu to Kihikihi commencing at a point approximately 180 metres south of Turere Lane at RP16/12.50 then extending in a southerly direction along State Highway 3 for a distance of 1.60 km to a point approximately 70 metres north of Herbert Road at RP16/14.16.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.
This bylaw is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
