Removal of Name from Register of Valuers

Pursuant to regulation 27 of the Valuers Regulations 1949, it is notified that the name of David Raymond Hitchins has been removed from the Register of Valuers in terms of section 31 (1) (c) of the Valuers Act 1948. Following an inquiry, Mr Hitchins has been found guilty of such unethical conduct in the performance of his duties as a valuer, as in the opinion of the Board, renders him unfit to be registered under the Valuers Act 1948.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land hereby jointly declare, that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Land Become a Scientific Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereinafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a scientific reserve subject to the provisions of section 21 of the Act.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Vesting of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (cemetery) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and further, vests the said reserve in The Rodney District Council, in trust, for that purpose.
