THE RIGHT HON. D. C. McKINNON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 27D of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986 and section 4 of the Finance Act 1990, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the State-Owned Enterprises (Resumption of Wahi Tapu) Order 1994.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Resumption of Wahi Tapu—(1) It is hereby declared—
    (a) That the interest in land specified in subclause (2) of this clause shall be resumed by the Crown on the 2nd day of May 1994; and
    (b) That on that day that land shall be no longer liable to resumption under section 27B of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986.

(2) The said interest in land comprises an estate in fee simple in—
(a) All that parcel of land situated in Block II, Whakatane Survey District containing 888 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P.S. 61560, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. 50B/313 (South Auckland Registry); and
(b) All that parcel of land situated in Block II, Whakatane Survey District containing 4904 square metres, more or less, being part Section 42, Town of Whakatane, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. 50B/314 (South Auckland Registry).

Pursuant to section 4 of the Maori Purposes Act 1993, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Maori Purposes Act (Mana Authorities) Order 1994.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 29th day of April 1994.

  1. Interpretation—Terms and expressions used in this order have the same meanings as they have in the Maori Purposes Act 1993.

  2. Application of sections 5 to 7 of the Maori Purposes Act 1993 to certain mana authorities—Sections 5 to 7 of the Maori Purposes Act 1993 are hereby applied to the mana authorities specified in the Schedule to this order.
