Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (road) reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Whangarei District Council at current market value. The proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, and such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of recreational facilities.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Central Otago District Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby cancels the vesting in The Central Otago District Council and revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over that part of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, which is hereafter deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Change of the Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Mount Iron Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Mount Iron Scenic Reserve.
