Notice of Intention to Take Land (Section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981) Takapuna Beachfront (Part Allotment 81 of the Parish of Takapuna) for Road

Notice is hereby given that The North Shore City Council, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, intends to take part of the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, to link Anzac Road and The Strand and to provide service access to the commercial area.

Notice was given under section 18 of the Public Works Act 1981 in October 1993 and a plan showing the proposed land take was attached to that notice.

The taking is considered reasonably necessary for the safe and convenient use of the roads within the Takapuna commercial area.

Any person having an estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto may within 20 working days after the date of this notice send an objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Wellington.
