Schedule

MAHA Roller Brake Testing Machine, Model IW 2 Series, manufactured by MBH Maschinenbau Haldenwang GmbH of West Germany.

Conditions of Approval

In accordance with the regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, the above brake testing equipment is approved subject to the following conditions:

  1. Each machine is to be provided with an accurate means of expressing the sum of the individual braking forces measured at each wheel and expressing it as a percentage of the vehicle’s weight.

  2. The supplier shall provide a calibration service that is readily available to the users of these brake testing machines.

● 3. The machine is to have the facility to automatically hold the highest reading.

  1. Access to the brake testing equipment is to be provided as required, for any person so authorised by the Director of Land Transport Safety, for the purpose of checking the accuracy of the testing equipment.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei District) Notice No. 5, 1994.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 5, 1969, dated on the 29th day of October 1969* issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.

SITUATED within Whangarei District at Langs Beach:

Cove Road: from a point 1450 metres measured westerly, generally, along Cove Road from Wairahi Road to a point 100 metres measured easterly, generally, along Cove Road from Hector Lang Drive.

Industry Training Act 1992

Sports, Fitness and Recreation Industry Training Organisation

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 19th day of July 1993, the Sports, Fitness and Recreation Industry Training Organisation, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Industry. It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework as follows: Fitness centres; sports administration and coaching, including planning, management, promotion and delivery; planning, management, promotion and delivery of outdoor recreation (excluding tourism promotions); and planning, management, promotion and delivery of community recreation (excluding sports turf management).
