Qualifications Recognised by the Secretary for Education for the Purpose of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to regulation 40 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 25th day of July 1991, No. 110, pages 2430–2431.

Where an early childhood centre is a Playcentre affiliated to the New Zealand Playcentre Federation and operates under the group supervision collective points system, the Secretary for Education hereby recognises the following certificates awarded by the Playcentre Association.

Part Three 30 points

This notice shall come into force the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence, dated 7 August 1992, which was granted under those regulations to April Dawn Tibble in respect of Wiremu Kururangi Te Kohanga Reo of 24 Karaka Street, Elgin, Gisborne.

The centre has been closed as from 19 May 1994.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence, dated 25 March 1991, which was granted under those regulations to Gael Surrey in respect of Taranaki Health Care Limited Preschool, 75 Lorna Street, New Plymouth.

The centre ceased operating from 30 November 1994.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Peter’s College, Epsom.

The said supplementary agreement was executed on the 5th day of December 1994. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 6–10 Nugent Street, Grafton, Auckland.

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Otago Cigas Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1994.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Approval as requiring authority—Otago Cigas Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority for its network operation for the distribution and transmission by pipeline of manufactured gas.
