Notice is given that as liquidators of Parsifal New Zealand Limited (in liquidation), we fix the 22nd day of December 1994, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to make their claims, and to establish any priority their claims may have under section 286 of the Companies Act 1955 (as amended), or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are claimed or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

Notice Calling Final Meeting

Pursuant to Section 281 of the Companies Act 1955

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and Aotearoa Fisheries Limited:

Notice is hereby given that a general meeting will be held at the Offices of Coopers & Lybrand, Thirteenth Floor, 113–119 The Terrace at 10.00 a.m. on the 16th day of December 1994, for the purpose of:

(a) Having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the liquidation has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of during the liquidation.

(b) Hearing any explanations that may be given by the liquidator.

(c) To consider, and if thought fit, pass the following extraordinary resolution:

“That the books and papers of the company be retained by the liquidator for a period of 1 year from the date thereof and then destroyed.”

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Home Improvement Products Limited (in receivership and in liquidation):

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to sections 213 (2) (b) and 288 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, a meeting of the creditors of Home Improvement Products Limited (in receivership and in liquidation) will be held at the Conference Room, State Services Commission, Fifth Floor, AMP Centre, 47 Cathedral Square, Christchurch at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, the 9th day of December 1994, for the following purposes, namely:

1. Whether to appoint another liquidator or liquidators in place of David Donald Crichton and Trevor Francis Thornton, both chartered accountants of Christchurch; and

2. To vote on a proposal that a liquidation committee be appointed to act with the liquidators and if it is so decided to choose the members of the committee.

The texts of the resolutions to be submitted to the meeting are as follows:

1. That the appointment of David Donald Crichton and Trevor Francis Thornton, both chartered accountants of Christchurch as the joint and individual liquidators of Home Improvement Products Limited (in receivership and in liquidation) be and is hereby confirmed.

2. That liquidation committee be appointed to act with the liquidators of the company in accordance with sections 288 and 289 of the Companies Act 1955 and that the meeting of creditors further resolve to choose the members of the committee.

Voting papers and proxy forms have been mailed to creditors but are also available from Messrs Grant Thornton, Chartered Accountants, Eighth Floor, AMP Centre, 47 Cathedral Square (P.O. Box 2099), Christchurch.
