Objections to the proposed boundaries of the new Mt Smart electorate.
Suggested solution To include the Otahuhu area and the Panama Road area of Mt Wellington in the new electorate. This could be achieved by removing all the proposed parts of Pakuranga from the electorate. These areas could be readily exchanged through the Mangere and Otara electorates. Otahuhu and the Panama Road area have long been in the same electorate. The community of interest and facilities of communication are much better with Otahuhu.
