Pursuant to Parts II and III of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The Whakatane District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be set apart for road and shall vest in The Whakatane District Council.

Amending Notices Affecting Land in Tennyson Avenue, Takapuna

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, hereby amends:

(A) the notice dated the 26th day of February 1974 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 14 March 1974, No. 24, page 467 (063238.1 North Auckland Registry), pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, declaring land acquired for a Government work to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, by inserting in the operative clause thereto, after the words “... Land Act 1948 ...” the words “..., together with the right of way created by memorandum of transfer 538006, North Auckland Land Registry, ...”, and,

(B) the notice dated the 8th day of November 1978, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 7 December 1978, No. 105, page 3353 (677701.1 North Auckland Registry), pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, declaring Crown land to be set apart for a kindergarten, by inserting in the operative clause thereto, after the words
