Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, hereby jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Declaring Conservation Areas to be Reserves

Pursuant to section 8 (1)(a) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the conservation areas described in the Schedule hereto, shall be set apart as reserves subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as reserves for the purposes specified in the respective descriptions.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the East Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as reserves for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act.
