Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares:

Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for a Penal Institution and a Notice Setting Apart Part of That Land for Justice Purposes in Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland hereby amends:

(a) the declaration, dated the 23rd day of October 1987, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 5 November 1987, No. 191, page 5015, acquiring land for a penal institution in Whangarei District, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, by omitting the area of the land secondly described in the Schedule thereto and by substituting therefore the area of 59.1523 hectares, and

(b) the notice, dated the 2nd day of August 1994, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 11 August 1994, No. 81, page 2543, setting apart land held for a penal institution for justice purposes in Whangarei District, pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, by omitting from description of the land described in the
