Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Roger Francis Toleman, Acting Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Royal Tongan Airlines by replacing paragraph 3 “Aircraft” with a new paragraph as follows:

“B737 and, for code-share services, any aircraft operated by another airline holding a New Zealand international air service licence.”

This amendment will take effect on 24 November 1994.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 2, 1994

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Roger Francis Toleman, Acting Secretary for Transport give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 2, 1994.

The road specified in the Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

So much of the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1990, signed on the 6th day of December, 1990, as relates to that section of the road specified in the Schedule hereto and issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked on the 29th day of September 1994.

Schedule

SITUATED within Manukau City at Howick and Pakuranga Wards:

Pakuranga Road: from Botany Road to a point 180 metres measured easterly, generally, along Pakuranga Road from Kerswill Place.

Water Recreation Regulations 1979

Harbours Act 1950

The Water Recreation (Fitzroy/Waiwhakaiho Beach) Notice 1994

I, Russell Kilvington, Director, Maritime Safety Authority, pursuant to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 257A of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby give the following notice:

Notice

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Fitzroy/Waiwhakaiho Beach) Notice 1994.

(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, and pursuant to regulation 18 of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, the area specified in the First Schedule, shall be designated as for the use of jet skis, wet bikes or personal water craft.

First Schedule

All that area of water of North Taranaki Bight at Fitzroy Beach within 200 metres of the waters edge and commencing at the mouth of the Waiwhakaiho River at its right bank and extending approximately 400 metres to the south west.

Second Schedule

  1. All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all Acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

  2. The area shall be marked as by two 2.5 metre high transit posts with a distance of not less than 3 metres or more than 6 metres between and painted with 300 mm bright orange and black bands erected on land in line with each side of each access lane, and the first post being sited at the waters edge.

  3. A suitable notice as may be approved by the Senior Advisory Officer (Harbours Management), Wellington, shall be erected at the sites deemed necessary by the Senior Advisory Officer (Harbours Management).
