Notice of Exemption of Class of Persons from Requirement of Regulation 22 (3) to Publicly Disclose Particular Information as at 31 March 1994

Electricity (Information Disclosure) Exemption Notice (No. 1) 1994

Pursuant to regulation 24 (7) of the Electricity (Information Disclosure) Regulations 1994, the Secretary of Commerce makes the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Electricity (Information Disclosure) Exemption Notice (No. 1) 1994.

(2) This notice shall take effect on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption relating to regulation 22 (3) granted—The class of persons described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby exempted from the requirement of regulation 22 (3) of the Electricity (Information Disclosure) Regulations 1994 to publicly disclose the information described in paragraphs (a) and (b) of that provision, in respect of each prescribed contract (within the meaning given to that term in regulation 22(2) of those regulations) that was in force at 31 March 1994.

Schedule

Class of Persons Exempted

Persons that, instead of publicly disclosing the information described in the said regulation 22 (3) in respect of each prescribed contract (within the said meaning) that was in force at the close of the 31st day of March 1994, publicly disclose the information described in the said regulation 22 (3) in respect of each prescribed contract (within the said meaning) that was in force on the 1st day of April 1994.

(2) This notice shall take effect on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Exemption relating to regulation 22 (4) (b) granted—The class of persons described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby exempted from the requirement of regulation 22 (4) (b) of the Electricity (Information Disclosure) Regulations 1994 to give written notice of
