At Wellington this 25th day of January 1994

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. DON McKINNON
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 71 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and at the request of Transit New Zealand, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that portion of State Highway 20 in the City of Manukau, being part of the Mount Roskill - Wiri highway and being those traffic lanes, shoulders and verges commencing at the southern side of Massey Road and proceeding in a southerly direction to the northern side of the intersection with Puhunui Road.

As shown on plan 1/68/17/3994, Sheet 2, Revision 1 held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Auckland.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 1, 1994

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Grant Stewart Milne, Acting Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

N o t i c e

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 1, 1994.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometre an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Mangonui County) Notice No. 1, 1985, signed on the 31st day of January 1985*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

First Schedule

SITUATED within Far North District at Taipa:

No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka - Awanui via Mangonui): from a point 200 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Mamararu Road to the eastern abutment of the Taipa Bridge.

Adamson Road.
East Street.
Foreshore Road.
Mamararu Road.
Ngatikahu Road.

Oruro Taipa Road: from No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka - Awanui via Mangonui) to a point 70 metres measured southerly, generally, along Oruro Taipa Road from East Street.

Taipa Point Road.

SITUATED within Far North District at Cable Bay:

No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka - Awanui via Mangonui): from Stratford Drive along the said State highway to Leslie Road.

Bush Point Road.
Leslie Road.
Powell Road.
Seaview Road.
Stratford Drive.

SITUATED within Far North District at Coopers Beach:

No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka - Awanui via Mangonui): from a point 100 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Cable Bay Block Road to a point 300 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Mill Bay Road.

Kupe Road.
Paradise Road.
Rangikapiti Road.

SITUATED within Far North District at Mangonui:

Alexander Street.

Second Schedule

SITUATED within Far North District at Coopers Beach:

No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka - Awanui via Mangonui): from a point 300 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Mill Bay Road to a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Mill Bay Road.

SITUATED within Far North District at Cable Bay:

No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka - Awanui via Mangonui): from Leslie Road to a point 100 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Cable Bay Block Road.

Heretaunga Crescent.
