Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993
The Fisheries (Automatic Location Communicator) Notice 1994 (No. 5380)
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993, and a delegation made, pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, the Regional Fisheries Services Manager, MAF Fisheries hereby makes the following notice:
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Automatic Location Communicator) Notice 1994.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Interpretation—In this notice,
“type approval” means an approval given by the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries under regulation 5 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993.
- Grant of type approval—Pursuant to regulation 5 (2) of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993, a full type approval has been granted to the following Inmarsat-C device:

Model Name: Galaxy.
Model No.: TNL-7001.
Software Version No.: V4.00.
- Revocation of type approval—Pursuant to regulation 5 (8) of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993, the full type approval granted to the following Inmarsat-C device on 4 March 1994, is revoked with effect from 1 April 1995:

Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
Initiation of Dumping Investigation: Aluminium Tread Plate From Italy
Notice is hereby given that I, Alexander Hugh McPhail, Manager, Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, acting pursuant to section 10 (1) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, and under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce, have initiated an investigation to determine both the existence and effect of the alleged dumping of the goods listed in the Schedule to this notice, being satisfied that sufficient evidence has been provided that:
(a) The goods imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand are being dumped; and
(b) By reason thereof material injury to an industry is threatened.
Schedule
Description of Goods Subject to Investigation
Aluminium tread plate of a thickness between 1.6 mm and 6.0 mm.
Country of Origin
Italy.
The goods are currently classified under Tariff Item and Statistical Key 7606.12.01.11A of the Tariff of New Zealand, which classification is provided for convenience and Customs purposes only, the written description being dispositive.

Interested parties are invited to make submissions on the alleged dumping and injury to the Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
Preliminary Determination: Aluminium Foil Rolls From Indonesia
Pursuant to section 12 (1) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, I, Philip Burdon, Minister of Commerce, hereby give notice that I have made a preliminary determination on the basis of the information made available to date during the investigation, that there is reasonable cause to believe that aluminium foil rolls of a kind described in the Schedule to this notice, and imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand, are goods in respect of which I may direct the imposition of an anti-dumping duty in accordance with section 14 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988.

Indonesia.
Description of Goods Subject to Investigation
Aluminium foil in rolls, of a size not exceeding 20 microns in thickness, 600 mm in width and 25 metres in length, packaged for retail sale, but excluding:
— foil backed with paper, paperboard, plastics or similar backing materials; and
— foil lacquered or printed.
The goods are currently classified under Tariff Items and Statistical Keys 7607.11.00.01A, 7607.11.00.08J, 7607.11.00.21F, 7607.19.00.01H, 7607.19.00.08E and 7607.19.00.21B of the Tariff of New Zealand. The Tariff Items and Statistical Keys are provided for convenience and Customs purposes only, the written description being dispositive.
