Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto as local purpose (aerodrome and community centre) reserves, and in the Second Schedule hereto as a local purpose (aerodrome and community facilities) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

First Schedule

North Auckland Land District, Auckland City

3.0353 hectares, more or less, being Crown land. Shown marked “A” on S.O. 66796. Part Gazette notice 736466.1 (Part New Zealand Gazette, 1978, page 3134).

North Auckland Land District, Auckland City

33.8254 hectares, more or less, being Crown land, situated in Blocks II and III, Tryphena Survey District. Shown marked “D” on S.O. 66796. Part Proclamation 10698 and 10699.

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in The Southland District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation reserve and vests the said reserve in The Southland District Council in trust for that purpose.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Parts of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation over those parts of the reserve for abattoirs, public pounds, sewage, cattle yards and plantations described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land shall vest in The Christchurch City Council in fee simple, to enable the land to be legalised as road.
