Securities Amendment Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1993 (No. 4)

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1993 (No. 4).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:

“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988;

“the Exchange” means New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act has the meaning given to it by the Act.

  1. Weston Bell authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) Weston Bell, financial planner of Auckland, is hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that Weston Bell:

(a) is an introducing broker within the meaning of the rules of the Exchange; and

(b) agrees to be bound by the rules of the Exchange.

  1. Clarke Wycherley Investments Limited authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) Clarke Wycherley Investments Limited is hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that Clarke Wycherley Investments Limited:

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Part of State Highway No. 1 at Whangarei

Pursuant to section 61 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw.

  1. This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1993/4.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force immediately.

  3. In this bylaw “motor vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.

  4. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres an hour on that part of State Highway No. 1 from the southern limit of the existing 50 kilometre an hour speed limit 110 metres south of Murdoch Crescent (RP 165/1.73) in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 1.3 kilometres to a point 500 metres south of Rewa Rewa Road (RP 165/3.00).

  5. Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.

This bylaw is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Conservation Act 1987

Notification of Disposal of Conservation Land

Pursuant to section 26 of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land formally held for conservation purposes, described in the Schedule hereto, has been disposed of to J. G. and M. S. Hohneck of Queenstown, for the consideration of six thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($6,750) including GST.

Otago Land District—Queenstown Lakes District

1.7391 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 23821, situated in Block XI, Shotover Survey District. All certificate of title 15A/112.
