Civil Aviation Act 1990

Designation of Meteorological Authority for the Purposes of International Air Navigation

Pursuant to section 2.1.4 of Annex 3 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation as defined in section 2 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and pursuant to section 14 (2) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport makes the following designation:

Designation:

The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand is hereby designated as the Meteorological Authority for New Zealand for the purposes of section 2.1.4 of Annex 3 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
All previous designations of Meteorological Authority for the purposes of the said section are hereby revoked.

Harbours Act 1950

Sale of Wanganui Harbour Land

I, William Robson Storey, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve, pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143c (1) (b) (i) of the Act, the sale of land referred to in the Schedule below by The Wanganui District Council and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 730 square metres, more or less, situate in the City of Wanganui, being also Lot 5 on Deposited Plan 45976 and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 16D, folio 577 (Wellington Registry).

Amendment to the Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of Thursday, 18 March 1993, Published Monday, 22 March 1993, Issue No. 36: Open Season for Game in Fish and Game Regions North Island and South Island

Pursuant to section 16 (3) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Conservation amends the notification given on page 734 (Second Schedule, North Canterbury Fish & Game Region), by inserting the following:

to be a member of the Valuers Registration Board, to hold office for a term of 3 years commencing on the 1st day of May 1993. The said Peter Edward Tierney having been appointed on the recommendation of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, pursuant to section 3 (2) (b) of the said Act.
