Health Act 1956

Declaration of Health Districts

Pursuant to section 19 of the Health Act 1956 (as inserted by the Health Amendment Act 1993), I, James Christopher Lovelace, Director-General of Health, declare that New Zealand shall, from and including the 1st day of July 1993, be divided into the Health Districts specified in the Schedule to this declaration with such names as are specified.

The boundaries of the various health districts specified, shall be deemed to be the boundaries of the land included within the territorial authority districts specified in the Schedule.
