Advertising Rates

The following rates for the insertion of material in the Principal Edition of the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:

Category 1
Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Transport Act, Public Works Act — 55c per word.

Category 2
Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Regulation Summaries, notices under the Medicines Act — 60c per word.
The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable. All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.

Approved Woolmarking Preparations—Notice
No. 5209: Ag. 1300-38

Pursuant to sections 69 and 94 of the Animals Act 1967 and after consultation with the New Zealand Wool Board, I hereby give notice that the woolmarking preparations set out in the Schedule hereto (being a product of Donaghys Industries Limited) is approved for sale and use in marking wool of sheep.

This approval takes effect on the day following the date of publication in the Gazette.

Super Bright Stock Marker, red, orange, green and blue.

Direction to the Broadcasting Commission in Relation to Funding Activities—National Radio and Concert FM
To: The Broadcasting Commission

Pursuant to section 44 of the Broadcasting Act 1989, I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Minister of Communications, hereby:

(1) Give you notice that it is part of the general policy of the Government in relation to broadcasting that the services known as National Radio and Concert FM shall have the following objectives:

National Radio
To provide:
a. A nationwide, non-commercial service providing programming of the highest quality to as many New Zealanders as possible;
b. Comprehensive, independent and impartial national and international news services as well as current affairs programmes;
c. A varied range of New Zealand programmes including Maori, information, special interest and entertainment programmes not currently provided by other radio services.
