Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei No. 4.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981

Declaring Railway Land and Rights of Way over Railway Land at Wiri to be Set Apart for Justice Purposes

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, hereby declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be set apart for justice purposes, and easements of right of way, containing the rights and powers set forth in paragraph 1 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, are hereby set apart over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, for justice purposes, to be forever appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule.

Public Works Act 1981

Easement Over Land Acquired for Defence Purposes in Manawatu District (RNZAF, Ohakea)

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into with the owner of the land in the First Schedule to this notice (called “the grantor”), the easement described in the Second Schedule is hereby acquired as an easement in gross over that part of the land described in the First Schedule as is specified in the said Second Schedule and shall vest in the Crown (called “the grantee”) for defence purposes (and may be surrendered at any time by notice in the Gazette on the date of publication in the Gazette).
