Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Wellington Land District—Tararua City

3,8799 hectares, more or less, being Section 49, Block XIV, Mangahao Survey District; as shown on S.O. 12824. Part Gazette, 1902, page 339.

Naming of Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, Wanganui, hereby declares that the scenic reserve, described in the First Schedule hereto, shall hereafter be known as the Whitiua Scenic Reserve, and further declares that the scientific reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall hereafter be known as the Whitiua Scientific Reserve.

Wellington Land District—Wanganui District

First Schedule
56.7040 hectares, more or less, being Section 516, left bank, Wanganui River, Block IX, Ikitaru Survey District.

39.1500 hectares, more or less, being Section 545, left bank, Wanganui River, Blocks IX and X, Ikitaru Survey District.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Pokaka Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Tongariro/Taupo Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Pokaka Scenic Reserve.

10.6300 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 75616, situated in Block XI, Manganui Survey District. All certificate of title 42D/136.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Wanganui 1993, No. 4.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
