Notice of Election for an Extraordinary Vacancy on the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand—Auckland District

Notice is hereby given under the Pharmacy Act 1970 and the Pharmacy Regulations 1975, that an election for an extraordinary vacancy on the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand will be held in the months of June/July 1993.

Nominations of candidates, on the prescribed form, will close with the Registrar of the Pharmaceutical Society at 4 p.m. on Monday, the 28th day of June 1993. Should a poll be required, voting papers must be returned to the Registrar on or before 4 p.m. on Monday, the 19th day of July 1993.

The place for receiving nominations of candidates and voting papers relating to such candidates is the office of the Registrar, Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand, Pharmacy House, 124 Dixon Street (P.O. Box 11-640), Wellington.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaration that the Queen Elizabeth the Second National Trust be a Local Authority

Pursuant to section 2 of the Reserves Act 1977, I hereby declare the Queen Elizabeth the Second National Trust established under the Queen Elizabeth the Second National Trust Act 1977, to be a local authority for the purposes of the said Reserves Act, to enable it to exercise the powers and functions of a local authority under the provisions of the said Act.

Declaring Land to be Set Apart as Wildlife Refuges

Pursuant to section 18 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares that the conservation areas and adjacent foreshore described in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart as wildlife refuges subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953. The areas so held shall be known as the Whakapoi Wildlife Refuge and the Okahu Wildlife Refuge respectively.

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 of the Reserves Act 1977.
