Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for River Control Purposes in Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, amends the declaration dated the 26th day of March 1993, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 1st day of April 1993, No. 46, page 870, acquiring land for river control purposes in Whangarei District, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, by deleting from the operative clause the words “for road” and inserting the words “for river control purposes”.
