Pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, set apart by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 2, page 40 of 14 January 1988 is hereby cancelled.

Notice Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit a Maori Reservation is Set Apart
Pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the class of persons for whose benefit the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been set apart as a Maori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 85, page 1991 of 16 July 1981, is hereby redefined as being for the common use and benefit of the tangata whenua of Kaikou.

Pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the persons for whose use and benefit the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been set apart as a Maori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 19, page 381 of 28 February 1974, are hereby redefined as being Tawera subtribe of Umutahi and Tuariki Hapu and the peoples of the district.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae, kaumatua housing, recreational and community activities for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Paora Wi Te Hira and Maera Wihongi and the Ngaitawake hapu. The reservation is to be known as Te Hue Hue Marae.
