Revocation of the Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve of the Christchurch Special Class After-Care Society (Inc.), Change of Classification of a Reserve and Vesting in the Banks Peninsula District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the appointment of the Christchurch Special Class After-Care Society (Inc.), to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and changes the classification of the said reserve from a local purpose (youth camp) reserve to an historic reserve, and further, vests the said reserve in the Banks Peninsula District Council, in trust for an historic reserve.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1993, No. 9.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
