Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1A) of the latter Act.

39.6220 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 59446, situated in Blocks II and III, Tauhara Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1881, page 752.

Notice of Approval of the Sale of Certain Land Pursuant to Section 5 of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991

Pursuant to section 5 of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, I, William Francis Carlin, Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Wanganui, hereby approve the sale or other disposal of the following parcels of land by the South Taranaki District Council.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Naming of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Totara Peak Scenic Reserve.
