Securities Amendment Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1993 (No. 2)

Pursuant to the section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1993 (No. 2).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires,—

“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988:

“the Exchange” means New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act has the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Holroyd Capital Management Limited authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—

(1) Holroyd Capital Management Limited is hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that Holroyd Capital Management Limited—

(a) is an Introducing Broker within the meaning of the rules of the Exchange; and

(b) agrees to be bound by the rules of the Exchange.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Schedule

Nelson Land District—Buller District

612 square metres, more or less, being Sections 610 and 611, Town of Reefton, situated in Block XIV, Reefton Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1959, page 745. S.O. Plan 9594.
