Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission—Accountability

Section 15 (e) (iii) of the 1992 Treaty of Waitangi (Fisheries Claims) Settlement Act requires the commission ... "to propose for consideration by Maori provisions and a process for the commission’s accountability to Maori."

The Commission hereby advise all interested parties that "the provisions and processes for the accountability of the Commission to Maori for their consideration" has been published and is now available for consideration.
