I, William Robson Storey, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve, pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143c (1) (b) (i) of the Act, the sale of land referred to in the Schedule below by The Grey District Council and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing in total 1012 square metres, more or less, situate in Block X, Arnold Survey District, being Section 19, Town of Dobson, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 5A, folio 1303 (Westland Registry).

Approval of Motorcycle Safety Helmets

Pursuant to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, hereby approve safety helmets of the type described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of regulation 31 of the said regulations.

Schedule

Safety helmets manufactured by Bell Sports Inc. bearing the certification mark of the Snell Memorial Foundation M90, and bearing the model designation Racestar III and Racestar IV.

In the matter of section 26 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand, having obtained the consent of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that pursuant to section 26 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989, it calls in all one and two dollar notes issued or deemed to have been issued under this Act.

This notice shall take effect after from the close of the 16th day of April 1993. As from that date, all one and two dollar notes shall cease to be legal tender, but the Reserve Bank shall continue to be liable to pay any such notes on presentation at the Head Office of the Reserve Bank at Wellington.

Notice of Approval of Guardian Trust Australia Limited to Act as a Trustee

Pursuant to section 48 of the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission approves Guardian Trust Australia Limited ("the company") to act as a trustee for the purposes of the Securities Act 1978 in respect of unsecured subordinated convertible notes to be offered to the public by Brierley Investments Limited before 30 April 1993. This approval is subject to the condition that The New Zealand Guardian Trust Company Limited acts with the company as a co-trustee in respect of the securities.
