The Methodist Church Property Trust Amendment Bill
Notice to Introduce Bill
Notice is hereby given of the intention of the Methodist Church of New Zealand to apply for leave to introduce into the House of Representatives a private bill to be named The Methodist Church Property Trust Amendment Bill.
The objects of the bill are as follows:

To remove the word “Wesleyan” from any enactment or document which affects the Church.

To authorise the Church to hold land either by:
(a) trustees under the model deed;
(b) any board of the Church incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957;
(c) such other manner as the conference of the church approves; and
validates the holding of land by any such method prior to the passing of the bill.
The promoter of the bill is the Methodist Church of New Zealand whose address for service is at the offices of Cairns Slane, Solicitors, 156 Vincent Street (P.O. Box 6849), Auckland 1.
A copy of the bill may be inspected at the Christchurch District Court Office, Law Courts Building, Armagh Street, Christchurch and at the office of Cairns Slane, Auckland (at the address stated above).

Notice to Abolish a Special Quarantine Ground at Kaiapoi (Notice No. 5225; QUAL/0996/BET)
Pursuant to section 11A (2) of the Animals Act 1967, the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries, hereby gives the following notice

Special Quarantine Ground Abolished—The land as specified in the attached Schedule, is hereby abolished as a special quarantine ground for the detention of imported animals or 1 or more kinds of imported animals.

Revocations—Notice to Set Apart and Define a Special Quarantine Ground at Kaiapoi (Notice No. 5059) published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 15th day of November 1990, issue No. 200 at page 4326, is hereby revoked.

Land and premises owned by Rodney Paul Fletcher, director of Betta Aquatics (NZ) Limited, 6 Black Street, Kaiapoi, located at 42 Hilton/6 Black Streets, being part Rural Section 321, Waimakariri District Council, Valuation Ref. 21761-76100, comprising 1315 square metres, more or less.

Approval of Code of Ethical Conduct Notice (No. 5227 100-A1-07)
Pursuant to section 19A of the Animals Protection Act 1960, and on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I hereby approve the code of ethical conduct submitted to me by Arthur Webster Pty Limited which is the same as the approved code of ethical conduct of Young’s Animal Health (NZ) Limited.

Pursuant to section 19A of the Animals Protection Act 1960, and on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I hereby approve the code of ethical conduct submitted to me by Wellington High School and Community Institute which is the same as the approved code of ethical conduct of Victoria University of Wellington.
