Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice (No. 2) 1993.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice any reference to the Southern Scallop Fishery means the fishery described in Part I of Schedule 1D to the Fisheries Act 1983.

3. Scallop season—The period commencing on the 25th day of August 1993 and ending with the close of the 21st day of December 1993 shall be the commercial Southern Scallop Fishery season for the 1993–94 fishing year.

4. Cancellation of previous notice—The Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1993 (No. 5273) published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 12th day of August 1993, Issue No. 122 at page 2400 is hereby cancelled.

Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993

The Fisheries (Issue of Satellite Vessel Monitoring Circular) Notice (No. 2) 1993 (No. 5315)

I hereby advise that, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board, a circular has been issued on the 13th day of December 1993, pursuant to regulation 4 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993.

Circular Two specifies the standards applying in respect of ARGOS automatic location communicators, and a copy may be obtained from the following offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries:
