Pursuant to the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989, notice is hereby given of the making of regulations as under:

Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session
Order in Respect of Tim John Harpur,
Registered Comprehensive Nurse

In exercise of its powers under sections 42(1)(a); 42(2)(d); 42(3) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand after due inquiry on 12 October 1993, ordered that Registered Comprehensive Nurse Tim John Harpur be censured; that he pay $2,300 or actual costs incurred (whichever is the lesser) toward the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council; that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette and Nursing New Zealand.

Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session
Order in Respect of Kevin Gerard Lawrence,
Registered Psychiatric Nurse

In exercise of its powers under sections 42(1)(b); 42(2)(ba); 42(3) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand after due inquiry on 16 June and 4 August 1993, found Registered Psychiatric Nurse Kevin Gerard Lawrence to have been guilty of professional misconduct. Council ordered that he may, for a period of 12 months from such date as he recommences nursing practice, practise only subject to conditions specified by the Nursing Council; that he pay $9,000 or actual costs incurred (whichever is the lesser) toward the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council and investigation made by the Preliminary Proceedings Committee; that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette and Nursing New Zealand.
