Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Revocation of Approvals

Pursuant to regulation 8(1) of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to section 28 of the Land Transport Act 1993, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby revoke all notices authorising certification of compliance with the said Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 issued pursuant to the said regulation 8(1), effective as from 1 February 1994.

Approval of Course in Map Reading

Pursuant to section 48(2)(f) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Acting Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation dated the 20th day of August 1993, I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Manager, Road User Standards, hereby approve the following organisations to conduct a course in map reading for the purposes of regulation 11(1)(c) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987:

The Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 2) 1993

Pursuant to the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement, and expiry—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 2) 1993.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of January 1994.

(3) This notice shall expire with the close of the 31st day of March 1994.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice “the Act” means the Securities Act 1978.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Authorised life insurance companies—Each life insurance company named in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company.
