of the Land Transport Safety Authority, to be closely populated localities, 70 km/h speed limit areas, limited speed zones or to be excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by subsection 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as may be ascertained from the Legend. The said Plan and Legend are hereby incorporated in this notice.

The following traffic notices are hereby revoked:

  1. The Traffic (Upper Hutt City) Notice No. 1, 1988, signed on the 29th day of April 1988, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

  2. The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 2, 1987, signed on the 9th day of December 1987, issued pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

  3. The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 1, 1976, signed on the 29th day of October 1976, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  4. The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 1, 1975, signed on the 11th day of September 1975, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 2, 1993.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

Schedule

SITUATED within Far North District at Hihi Beach:

Compass Cove.
Driftwood Lane.
Fairwinds Place.
Merchant Place.
Peninsula Drive.
Whitecaps Place.
Hihi Road: from Peninsula Drive to Waiaua Road.

The Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 2, 1993

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Grant Stewart Milne, Acting Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 2, 1993.

The area specified in the First Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 4, 1977, dated on the 28th day of November 1977*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

First Schedule

SITUATED within Waipa District at Ohaupo:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) at its junction with the southern side of Ngahinapouri-Ohaupo Road; thence south-easterly, generally, along the eastern side of the said State highway to a point 280 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the eastern side of the said State highway from Great Colllins Street; thence across the said State highway at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence southerly, generally, along the western side of the said State highway to the northern side of Ryburn Road; thence due west by a right line to the North Island Main Trunk Railway Line; thence northerly and north-westerly, generally, along the said railway line to a point due west of the western end of Great Burke Street; thence due east by a right line to the eastern side of Sandes Street; thence north-westerly, generally, along the eastern side of Sandes Street to the southern side of Ngahinapouri-Ohaupo Road; thence easterly, generally, along the said side of Ngahinapouri-Ohaupo Road to the commencing point.

Second Schedule

SITUATED within Waipa District at Ohaupo:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from Ngahinapouri-Ohaupo Road to a point 720 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from the said road; and from a point 280 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Great Collins Street to a point 60 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from Ryburn Road.
