The following rates for the insertion of material in the Principal Edition of the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:

Category 1

Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Transport Act, Public Works Act — 55c per word.

Category 2

Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Regulation Summaries, notices under the Medicines Act — 60c per word.

The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable.

All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.

Animals Act 1967

Movement Control Notice Issued Under Section 13A, Animals Act 1967 (Notice No. 5215)

For the purpose of controlling the movement of all bivalve molluscs which may be harbouring a harmful organism, pursuant to section 13A of the Animals Act 1967, I hereby prohibit all movement of bivalve molluscs from the Movement Control Area described in the Schedule hereto for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Schedule

The Movement Control Area is that area of land and water bounded:

(a) by the outer limit of the Territorial Sea as defined by section 3 of the Territorial Sea and Exclusive Economic Zone Act 1977 heading in a northerly direction from a point on the Territorial Sea at 40° 56.4'S 174° 35.4'E around the coast of the North Island to a point on the Territorial Sea at 41° 27.6'S 174° 26.0'E; and

(b) by a straight line from 41° 27.6'S 174° 26.0'E in a northerly direction to the point of commencement at a point 40° 56.4'S 174° 35.4'E.

Movement Control Notice No. 5207 appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on the 15th day of January 1993 at page 47 is hereby revoked.

Notice to Set Apart and Define a Special Quarantine Ground at North Taieri, Otago (Notice No. 5214 QUAL/0966/EFS)

Pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land, as specified in the attached Schedule, is hereby declared to be a special quarantine ground for the detention of imported animals or one or more kinds of imported animals.

That land contained within the survey description set out below, and making up approximately one third of that defined area, as is marked on plans lodged with MAF Quality Management Import Management and Quarantine (Animals) Office, care of MAF Head Office, Wellington, and with the MAF Quality Management District Office, Invermay. The plans, Waiora Farm Cadastral Base Plan No. 5767/1, Waiora Farm Quarantine Facility Plan No. 5767/3 and Proposed Woolshed and Covered Yards—Waiora Farm, Invermay Ref NEFS, are available for inspection by members of the public on request during normal office hours.
