Maori Affairs Act 1953
Notice Setting Apart General Land as a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 439 (1) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court the general land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of an urupa for the purposes of burials according to the traditions of all churches for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Tupari and Ngaro Tupari Tewhata, Ngatikopaki Tamehana and Hariata Te Koki Tamehana.
The name of the urupa is to be Reihaa Taukawau Tuarua.

Pursuant to section 439 (1) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court the general land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and museum for the purposes of traditional Maori functions and interdenominational church services for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Tupari and Ngaro Tupari Tewhata, Ngatikopaki Tamehana and Hariata Te Koki Tamehana.
The name of the marae is to be known as Wai-Aata-Rere Marae.
