Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a sub-delegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, John Gibson Bradbury, Manager Air Services, give the following notice:

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Air New Zealand Limited so as to allow the airline, with effect from 1 November 1993, to operate up to the equivalent of five and one-half B747 services per week to Australia and beyond.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Malaysian Airline System Berhad so as to allow the airline to offer code-share service on Ansett New Zealand flights as part of the agreed services which may be operated between Malaysia and New Zealand by designated airlines of Malaysia.

This amendment will take effect on 29 October 1993.

Notice of Application for an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Korean Air, of Seoul, Republic of Korea, has applied for an international air service licence to permit the airline to operate air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between points in Korea and Auckland, Wellington and/or Christchurch, optionally via up to two points in Australia, and with capacity of up to the equivalent of two B747 services per week.

Further details of this proposal may be obtained from the Manager, Air Services, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application must forward the representations to me on or before 28 October 1993.
