Notice Including Land in an Existing Maori Reservation and Redefining Purposes of Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 439 (2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby included in the existing Maori reservation for the lands described in Second Schedule constituted by notice, dated 16 July 1970, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 43, page 1286 on 23 July 1970; and pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on a further recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purposes for which the Maori reservation in respect of the lands described in the Second Schedule was set apart are redefined as a meeting place, place of worship, recreation ground, and source of water supply, church site, and place of historical interest and urupa.

All that piece of land, situated in Block I, Waimata Survey District, and described as follows:

Lot 1, D.P. 3488, part Repongaere 4G Block, and being part of the land described in certificate of title 2A/1065, Gisborne Registry.
Lot 1, D.P. 3507, part Repongaere 4G Block, and being part of the land described in certificate of title 2A/1100, Gisborne Registry.

Maori Land Development Notice
Pursuant to Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:
Notice

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1993, No. 9.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
