Cancellation of Vesting and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in The Tararua District Council and revokes the reservation as a reserve for metal purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve Together With Naming of the Reserve

Pursuant to sections 14 and 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Far North District Council on the 8th day of April 1993, and hereby further notifies that the reserve shall be known as the Tahuna-a-Huru Reserve (a place where birds shed their feathers):

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Far North District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (esplanade) reserve be known as Tahuna-a-Huru Reserve.”

Change of the Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (first response) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Naming of Reserve and Appointment of Te Runanga O Ngatihine to Control and Manage the said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, hereby appoints Te Runanga O Ngatihine to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further declares the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Motatau Scenic Reserve.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Reserve Land for Other Land
