I, William Robson Storey, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve, pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the Act, the sale of land referred to in the Schedule below by The Wanganui District Council and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 1015 square metres, more or less, situate in the City of Wanganui, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 41626 and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 13B, folio 299 (Wellington Registry).

State Sector Act 1988

Appointment of Supervising Officer and Revocation of Appointments of Supervising Officers and Harbourmaster

Whereas, pursuant to section 28 of the State Sector Act 1988, the Minister of Transport did delegate his power under section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, to the Secretary for Transport by an instrument of delegation dated 12 April 1990.

And whereas, pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, the Secretary for Transport did delegate those powers under section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, to me by an instrument of delegation dated 9 May 1990.

Therefore I, Thomas Edwin Law, Senior Advisory Officer (Harbours Management), pursuant to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of the powers delegated to me, hereby appoint:

Martin Andrew Black as a Supervising Officer for Otago Region

for the purposes of the Harbours Act 1950, and the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, and hereby revoke the appointments of:
