Traffic Regulations 1976
CNG Fuel System Variation of Approval
Pursuant to regulation 90D of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby vary the approval given in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 199, page 5320, 11 December 1986, “CNG Fuel System Approvals” in respect of certain CNG fuel system components as specified in the First Schedule.
From 1 October 1993, all cylinders as specified in the First Schedule below shall cease to be approved components of any alternative fuel system. This is the third and final stage of the progressive withdrawal of BoGap cylinders. These cylinders having reached the end of their safe fatigue life.
Cylinders as specified in the First Schedule which are installed in vehicles on 1 October 1993, will only be permitted to remain fitted until the first CNG periodic inspection or Warrant of Fitness inspection or Certificate of Fitness inspection for the vehicle which falls due after 1 October 1993 (whichever inspection falls due first) at which time the cylinder must be removed from the vehicle and promptly delivered to an Authorised Cylinder Testing Station to be rendered unserviceable.
No CNG Inspection Certificate or Warrant of Fitness or Certificate of Fitness is to be issued to any motor vehicle which is fitted with any cylinder specified in the First Schedule below after 1 October 1993.
First Schedule
Cylinders for which approval is to be revoked. Any BoGap CNG cylinder. MOT reference for these cylinders is AF C03B 023.

The Traffic (Kapiti Coast District - Otaki Ward) Notice No. 1, 1993
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport dated the 16th day of November 1992, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kapiti Coast District - Otaki Ward) Notice No. 1, 1993.
The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
Schedule
SITUATED within Kapiti Coast District - Otaki Ward at Te Horo:
School Road (also known as Te Horo Hautere Cross Road): from Gear Road to a point 550 metres measured easterly, generally, along School Road from Arcus Road.
