Notice of Intention to Apply for Leave to Introduce a Private Bill
Clevedon Agricultural and Pastoral Association Incorporated is registered as the proprietor of an estate in fee simple in the land situated in the North Auckland Land Registration District containing 7,9037 hectares, more or less, being part of Allotment 3 of the Parish of Waiora and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 585, folio 203 (Auckland Registry) limited as to parcels. The Association is a duly constituted society pursuant to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908. The Manukau City Council desires to acquire the land for recreational, sport, park land and other purposes. The Association holds the land subject to the provisions of the Agricultural and Pastoral Society Act 1908 which prohibits the sale of its land. The Association is resolved to apply for a legislative authority to enable the Association to transfer the land to the Council subject to the Association obtaining a lease of a portion of the land on certain terms and conditions to enable it to continue to carry out the objects of the Association. A copy of the intended bill is deposited at the District Court, Papakura and is open to public inspection during office hours without a fee for a period of three weeks.

Notice of Intention to Apply for Leave to Introduce Private Bill
The Thomas Cawthron Trust Amendment Bill 1993
Notice is hereby given that the Cawthron Institute Trust Board intends to apply for leave to introduce into the House of Representatives in the present session of Parliament a Private Bill, under the Short Title of the “Thomas Cawthron Trust Amendment Bill 1993”.
The objects of the Bill are as follows:

To remove the power of the Minister of Research, Science, and Technology to appoint 3 members of the Board.

To remove the power of the Governor-General in Council to appoint 4 members of the Board, after consultation with the Board.

To provide for the ex-officio members of the Board to appoint six members.
The promoter of the Bill is the Cawthron Institute Trust Board, whose address for communications or notices is 98 Halifax Street East (Private Bag 2), Nelson.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected, during normal office hours on any working day, at the offices of the following:
(a) The Cawthron Institute Trust Board (at the address stated above),

Animals Act 1967
Area Movement Control: Tuberculosis Notice (No. 5258)
I hereby give notice, pursuant to section 13A of the Animals Act 1967, declaring the whole of New Zealand to be a Movement Control Area and I require all cattle or deer 03 months of age or older being moved either from their herd of origin (which term for the purposes of this notice means all cattle or deer managed as one unit and with which the cattle or deer in question has, for the time being, been depastured) to any other herd, or to a place of slaughter, or being offered for sale to be accompanied by a signed and dated document by the owner or his/her agent stating in respect of tuberculosis, the status assigned in writing by an Inspector to the herd of origin as at the date of the statement.
I further give notice that within the Movement Control Area, designated areas be established requiring that all cattle or deer 12 months of age or older depastured in a designated area either being moved from their herd of origin to another herd within that designated area, or leaving that designated area, must be accompanied by a signed and dated document by the owner or his/her agent stating:
(i) that, except for animals going directly to be slaughtered, within 90 days prior to the date of movement the animals have undergone a test approved by the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries for tuberculosis, carried out by an Inspector or veterinarian, with negative results; and
(ii) in respect of tuberculosis, the status assigned in writing by an Inspector to the herd of origin as at the date of the statement.
In exceptional circumstances only, an owner may apply to an Inspector for a variation from the requirements relating to the Movement Control Area and/or the designated areas established by this Notice. If granted, the Inspector’s
