International Air Services Licensing Act 1947

Notice of Application for the Renewal of an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 15 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Niue Airlines has applied for the renewal of its International Air Service Licence to operate international air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Niue and New Zealand from 16 July 1992, and that it is proposed that the renewal be for a period of 5 years from that date. A minor technical amendment is also proposed. Further details are available from the Secretary of Transport, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application and proposals, must forward the representations in writing to reach me on or before 3 July 1992.

Eastland Rural Fire District Notice 1990

Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

1. (1) this notice may be cited as the Eastland Rural Fire District Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. (1) The notice constituting the Eastland Rural Fire District made on the 15th day of October 1990 (a) (hereinafter, in this clause, referred to as the principal notice) is hereby amended by revoking clause 5 of the principal notice, and substituting the following clause:

"5. The committee shall consist of six members as follows:

(a) Two persons appointed, in writing, by Hikurangi Forest Farms Limited signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof;

(b) One person appointed, in writing, by P.F. Olsen and Company Limited signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof;

(c) One person appointed in writing, by Juken Nissho Limited signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof;

(d) One person appointed, in writing, by the Gisborne District Council; and

(e) One person appointed, in writing, by the Director-General of the Department of Conservation.

(2) This clause shall be read together and be deemed part of the principal notice.

3. The First Schedule to the principal notice is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this notice.

"Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay Land District—Gisborne, Wairoa and Opotiki Districts—Eastland Rural Fire District

All those parcels containing 58,000 hectares, more or less, as shown marked A to Z inclusive on S.O. Plan 8439, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Gisborne, and as the same on those plans numbered NRFA 106, deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service Commission at Wellington".
