Qualifications Recognised by the Secretary of Education for the Purpose of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to regulation 40 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, I hereby amend the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 25th day of July 1991, No. 110, pages 2430–2431.

The Secretary for Education hereby recognised for the purposes of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990:

For all playcentres affiliated to the New Zealand Playcentre Federation and operated under the group supervision collective points system. The Secretary for Education hereby recognises the following certificate credits:

Association Supervisor Certificate .......................................................... 40 points.

This notice shall come into force the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, I hereby cancel the licence, dated the 1st day of October 1991, which was granted under those regulations to Geoffrey W. Cotton in respect of Morrinsville Childcare Centre, 14 George Street, Morrinsville.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Marist Sisters’ College, Mount Albert, Auckland.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 29th day of March 1992. A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Auckland office of the Ministry of Education, 6–10 Nugent Street, Auckland.

Mental Health Act 1969

Declaration of Psychiatric Hospital at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton

Pursuant to section 6 of the Mental Health Act 1969, the Minister of Health declares the building described in the Schedule hereto to be a psychiatric hospital for the purposes of the Mental Health Act.

Schedule

Ward 29, Waikato Hospital is a separate building, located on the campus of Waikato Hospital, adjacent to the block of medical wards known as Wards 21, 22, 23 and 24 on the western boundary and parking areas on the southern, eastern and northern boundaries. The building is approximately 50 metres from Selwyn Street on the east aspect and the hospital chapel in a south-easterly direction.
