Advertising Rates
The following rates for the insertion of material in the Principal Edition of the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:
Category 1
Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Transport Act, Public Works Act — 55c per word.
Category 2
Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Regulation Summaries, notices under the Medicines Act — 60c per word.
The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable.
All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.

Palmerston North Showgrounds Act 1974
Amendment to the Palmerston North Showgrounds Act 1974
Pursuant to section 12 of the Palmerston North Showgrounds Act 1974, the Minister of Conservation hereby notifies that the provisions of the Second Schedule to the said Act have been altered as set out in the Schedule hereto. These alterations have been approved in consultation with the Minister of Agriculture.

Clause 10 is replaced by “At all meetings of the Board, half the number of Board members when the number of appointed Board members is even or half plus one member when the Board comprises an uneven number of appointed members shall form a quorum and the Chairman shall have a casting as well as a deliberative vote. Every matter shall be determined by a majority”.

Clause 13 is amended by replacing its first sentence with the following “The financial year of the Board shall commence on the 1st day of April each year and close on the 31st day of March on the following year or such other 12 month period which the Board shall resolve having recourse to a transitional balance date”.

Clause 16 is amended by adding the following:
“(k) To sell and provide liquor in conjunction with approved user activities pursuant to the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 or any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force”.

Education Act 1989
Closure of Rockville School
Pursuant to section 154 of the Education Act 1989 (as inserted by section 14 of the Education Amendment Act 1989), I hereby declare that Rockville School will close on 12 June 1992 and cease to be established on that day.
